Coaching and Guiding
As well as being passionate about kayaking, Max is also passionate about coaching.
Max has had extensive experience from big volume boating and steep creeking to running BCU / UKCC courses.
As well as in the UK, he has taught and guided kayakers in The Alps, Norway, Zambia and Uganda.
In addition to this and much experience participating in and coaching other sporting disciplines he has spent over two years working in a North London secondary school and is training to become a teacher.
Above all, Max believes in progressive and dynamic coaching; teaching people to teach themselves.
Liquid Satisfaction
In 2006 Max started the kayak coaching company, Liquid Satisfaction. Although he was still a student at Leeds University, the company has already run Trips to the French Alps, The White Nile and now Norway.
